I happened to be trying out a new video camera from a balcony overlooking the Bloor and Islington subway station
on Easter Sunday morning, 2009, when a CPRail freight with over 100 cars thundered by westbound heading out of Toronto. It was carrying a lot of empty autoracks and a mixed consist on the tail end.
A SOO locomotive (CP subsidiary) was in the 4-locomotive consist up front. I assume most, if not, all cars were empties.
This is just a short video clip for those interested in contemporary Canadian freight operations.
I'll be taking the camera to the Woodstock NFR convention next weekend and will post some pictures and videos later in April.
Return from "CPRail" to the Train Photos overview.
